IF it was a battle of bimbos, it was a no contest.
Carmen Electra, classically trained, tutored by Playboy, knocked out an already knocked-out and untrained Anna Nicole Smith.
The two faux-breasted vixens were in Sydney yesterday to promote vastly different entities.
Smith, the buxom nobody with her own reality show, was paid to add glamour to a glossy magazine's Oscar party.
Confidential reckons a balloon would have been more effective.
Meanwhile, former Baywatch star Electra (real name Tara Patrick), began her hectic week in Sydney spruiking her own DVD series of aerobic striptease workouts.
She gets the joke. After being trained as a singer and dancer, her ambition to perform on Broadway made way for Baywatch.
"I know, it's funny. I went to a performing arts school so I guess some of the choices that I made, to an artist or someone who studied as hard in ballet as I did, might be kind of weird," Electra said.
Electra knows sex sells and will perform a striptease at Thursday's MTV awards.
"It is very sexy. Striptease is what it is but it is very popular at the moment and people are interested so I'm happy to be a part of it."
Smith, on the other hand, wouldn't get a joke if Robin Williams told it to her and she adds as much glamour to proceedings as the Elephant Man.
Unfortunately for the magazine which brought her out here - paying more than $100,000 for her services - she was as articulate as a two-year-old.
