First Communist Strip Club

This is a True Story

In the Soviet Union even prostitues and strip dancers were employed by the communist government. At one occasion, when the Soviet authorities decided to build the first strip joint, they built a beautiful new building in Moscow, hired the stuff and advertised it all over the country.

Comes first day the quee of people was meandering from the strip bar to all the way to the edge of the city. 100's of thousands of people tried to get in, but couldn't. But by the second day the line-up became smaller, and in less than 2 weeks only a few peasents came to see the show from some far away places.

Since this shocking development seriously undermined the success of the first Soviet Nudie Bar, the bar's manager (a member of the communist party himself) and the secretary of the local communist party (of the strip bar's employees) sat together to discuss the possible reasons behind this sudden disinterest. At first one of them thought that maybe the chair's were not comfortable enough. OK, so they changed them all. But it didn't help, so they changed the lamps. Still no one came to see the program. So they slowly changed tables, walls, ceiling.... all for no avail, still no one came.

Finally the manager of the bar asked the secretary of the party:- Sergey, tell me, isn't it possible that the striptease dancer woman is politically untrustworthy?- Ivan, come on! You know it's impossible! She is the member of the communist party now for 70 years!
