A SYDNEY man accused of terrorist activities, Bilal Khazal, will face committal proceedings in June.

The former Qantas baggage handler from Lakemba in Sydney's south-west is charged under federal legislation with knowingly collecting or making documents connected with terrorism.
Khazal, wearing traditional Muslim clothes, made a brief appearance in Sydney's Central Local Court today for the decision on his committal hearing date, set for June 9 and 10.
