Back then ... Roger Vadim and Jane Fonda were considered one of the movie industry's hottest couples.

SIXTIES screen siren Jane Fonda has revealed she was forced to have threesomes by her "cruel and misogynistic" ex-husband.
The Oscar-winning actress says former husband Roger Vadim bullied her into inviting other women to join them in bed to fulfill his sexual fantasies.
Fonda, 67, makes the claims in her autobiography, My Life So Far, due for release in the US next month.
Excerpts of the book have been leaked in advance, reported UK newspaper the Daily Mail.
The Barbarella star, who became an icon of female sexual liberation, describes an incident in which the French And God Created Woman director ordered a flame-haired prostitute from an escort agency in France to join the couple between the sheets.
"It seems shocking that I did that, but I managed to convince myself that it was fine, that I wanted to, even though it was killing my heart," Fonda writes.
She also details how Vadim, who was also married to blonde bombshell Brigitte Bardot, actively encouraged her to find women to join them for sex.
He suggested she use the seduction skills she perfected in her Oscar-winning performance as a prostitute in the 1971 movie Klute. "For me with Roger Vadim, that meant bringing other women into our bed," she writes.
She admits she agreed to the three-in-a-bed sex because she had wanted to please her husband who made her feel "less than perfect". (Oh please spare me, bring on the violyns)
She also blamed Vadim - who directed her in Barbarella - for making her feel insecure and for her eating disorders.
"I ceased eating except for crusts from his bread and rinds from his camembert."
The showbiz pair divorced in 1973 after six years of marriage.
Vadim died of cancer in a Paris hospital in 2000. He was 72.
Fonda returns to the big screen this year, after more than a decade, in the comedy Monster-In-Law with Jennifer Lopez.
